The Young Persons Network (YPN)

The RAeS Young Persons Network brings together young RAeS members. YPN members are very active in organizing outreach events to schools and volunteering at airshows and exhibitions. Annual events organized specifically for young members include the AeroChallenge, the Young Persons Lecture Competition, and the Young Persons Conference. The Young Persons Network Canada (YPN Canada)

Young members in Canada are encouraged to join the YPN Canada. The YPN Canada organizes events for young members in Canada as well as outreach events.

• The Young Persons Lecture Competition Canada is the Canadian qualifier for the international Young Persons Lecture Competition.
• Cool Aeronautics is the RAeS elementary school outreach program, and YPN Canada members are the ones who organize the Canadian events.
• In 2020, the YPN Canada adapted to the pandemic by organizing virtual panel discussions with aviation and aerospace professionals.
